How To Install A Service (aka Tag) To A WPHubSite WordPress Website
HubSpot and Google Analytics are powerful tools to integrate with a WordPress website but there are plenty of other useful services (aka tags) to install. There are things like Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixels, and more that can extend your WPHubSite and allow you to embed more into your website and track better.
WPHubSite has an easy way to install additional services into your WordPress website. Our favorite method is to simply install the Google Tag Manager and then manage everything through there. You can also install services right into your WPHubSite website through the Google Analytics section.
The Google Analytics section isn’t only for Google Analytics. You can install any service that goes into the head, body, and body footer of a website. Any tag that has codes for any of these sections of your website can easily be installed on your website.
You can then embed any other code into your website if you’re integrating purchase buttons, help desk articles, or anything into a page of your website.
Ready to get started installing a service into your WPHubSite WordPress website?
These instructions will get you to the right place of WPHubSite but we won’t be installing anything. I’ll instead explain an example of Google Tag Manager.
Step 1: Hover over or click on SEO in the admin dashboard menu.
Step 2: Click on Google Analytics.
Step 3: Click the Tracking tab.
Step 4: Toggle the Google Analytics section to on if you haven’t done so already. Don’t worry, you don’t need to enable Google Analytics, this simply ensures that the code will be properly inserted into your pages.
Option 5: Paste any code you would like to insert into the HEAD of your website. If you were installing Google Tag Manager then you’d install the first block of code into this section.
Option 6: Paste any code you want in the BODY of your website. This is where you’d paste the second block of code that Google Tag Manager provides you. This would also complete the installation of GTM so you would go to step 8 in these instructions to save them.
Option 7: Paste any code for the body footer of your website if this is the ideal place to embed the code you have.
Note: You can test out which section of your website works if you’re not sure. Don’t worry, you can’t break anything permanently. You just may have to remove the code and save it again if something stops working.
Step 8: Click the Save Changes button.
That’s it! Now you have the service installed on your website. If you installed Google Tag Manager then you can install many other tags in there and they’ll all work on your website.
Google Tag Manager has tons of easy to configure tags included Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads Remarketing, Google Optimize, among many others including custom HTML or custom image.
